YOU ARE Your Divine Purpose

YOUR DIVINE PASSION AND PURPOSE IS WITHIN YOU

This is a topic that I have been sitting with and has been circulating within my awareness for some time. I’ve been almost avoiding it, out of fear, discomfort and just overall self doubt. Not to mention my friend Ego that comes in uninvited and tries to get in the way. And I thought -

“If I am having all of these feelings about this, I can’t be the only one.”

This is a big one, it’s the one question(s) that keeps coming up for most walking the path of spiritual student:

What is my purpose? What am I here for? What have I come here to do? What do I need to do right this moment to live in my purpose?

Once we start recognizing that the career and societal status we were encouraged to pursue isn’t all there is to this life, these questions just come up naturally.

Maybe you’re something like me and spent many years sitting behind a desk, in a job that makes you feel important and pushes you to the maximum stress limits making you feel high and mighty by worldly accomplishments and acquisitions. And then, one day something within awakens, perhaps you start meditating, read a book or hear a talk that just reignites the divine spark within you, and then, pouring over you like a bucket of cold water, it hits you… I am more than this, this is not all there is, life is not the limited illusion I was taught to believe.

And so there you are now, immersed in this new revelation that you don’t know how you could ever go back. Do you even remember the way back? Would you even want to?

Once our eyes are open to truth, real universal truth, there is no way that I know that would undo this new life altering, life awakening, big huge revelation.

So it is naturally possible and even likely that you just begin to question life and your purpose within it.

One of the best advice I ever received was to question everything. Not in a sense of bringing fear or doubt into everything new that presents itself, but to sit with, question, and feel into what is being presented to you. What information are you receiving and how is it resonating within you? Does it ring true within your being? Is it resonating so deeply you feel shivers? Or perhaps you would like to learn more, get a different perspective and find what your heart is telling you to be true for you. Because here’s the thing, although we are all one Source energy, connected to each other and all that is, we are still unique… still part of the whole, always one, but our path and our ‘contribution’ is unique [yet still always as part of and in evolution of ALL THAT IS].

So with that being said, question everything. Find your truth. Learn to discern what is for you and what isn’t. Don’t compare. Your path is unique to you.

Now let’s trace back just a little bit and revisit the question: what is my purpose?

Here is the truth I can share with you on this; our purpose as individuals is to be.

Simple, right?

To be authentically who we are, just being yourself. To exude the every shade and color you already hold within.

It may sound like a broken record, but the truth is that you carry all you need to know and be within you. You already are it. Right now, go look in the mirror and let yourself know you are everything you need to be, right here right now, you are perfect whole and complete and in the exact place where you need to be, being exactly who you need to be.

As all is ever changing from moment to moment, you are also your becoming of all that you come here to be. You are perfect in this moment of becoming. That means that in this moment, you can choose different in your becoming more of what you are, to be all that you are, and in doing so living your purpose.

And although this becoming may at times be physical, it is really much more of a conscious expansion, an expansion in awareness.

How are you feeling so far?

Here’s more truth for you: You carry all the talent and ability to bring into creation your life purpose. All that your soul has incarnated into this now moment for, it brought along all the tools, the paintbrushes and software.

But perhaps you have forgotten, as there would really be too many details to retain coming into this experience. And what fun would that be anyway?! Knowing everything, without discovery, without lessons and life experiences that show and teach us so very much! Evolution it is… after all.

So you may need some help remembering a the details of all you carry and all you already are. And that’s ok, you are not the only one. Here’s what you can do: follow the callings of your soul, beyond doubt and fear, beyond ego. You ARE your divine purpose.

Be your authentic self! That idea that keeps coming up into awareness, try it! Play and have fun! Follow that which lights you up, that which brings you joy. Being in your divine essence is being in the joy of living! Just as when you were a young innocent child, with a sense of wonder ready for discovery of what more could be out there. Follow that joy, life is meant to be lived in joy, love, wonder and fun!

You ARE your divine passion that is your divine purpose. It is all within you ✨

This doesn’t mean you should renounce all worldly responsibilities, of course. We must continue ‘chopping wood and carrying water’ as the Buddhist teaching goes, but you can really walk the ‘middle way’. Tend to what needs tending in the human life, while also tending to your soul and what is guiding you towards.

Step by step, acting on these nudges and showing up, allowing ourselves to be in the joy of creation, we start to build a foundation. We start remembering, recalling, reclaiming. We step deeper into our authenticity. We begin to trust ourselves, letting go of doubt and fear. Becoming more of what we are. And as we set to be in our outmost joy, being all that we are, we are walking our purpose.

So trust yourself. It is all within you. Your soul is always guiding you along all that you have come here to do. You carry the blueprint.

Perhaps before you even get to realize, you are so deeply submerged in walking in your purpose, that you forget it is a ‘purpose’ at all, and it no longer matters. Because now you’re being you, here and now, present moment, and that is all there is.

Follow your passions, for YOU ARE your passion. Follow the excitement within to be and express the divine being light that you already are.
