The Courage to Lead from the Heart

“Awaken! “- My spirit calls out.

“Awaken to the divine power within you. Ignite your inner fire! Trust! Believe! And step into all that you are! Listen to your soul essence, your higher guidance, it is speaking through your heart and showing you the way.”

Of course I say, "Yes! Here I am! Show me the way!"

But I wouldn’t be completely honest if I didn’t also share that this little feeling within my stomach begins to tug and nag, and question whether it is necessary to leave my comfy little nest.

Yet I know, that this calling of spirit awakening is a life changing one. So I gather myself up, remembering that there is nothing to fear, for I am here to learn and grow, and infinitely loved by Source.

So I tell myself, have courage.

Have the courage to trust. Be courageous and have faith. All is divine and perfect.

Have the courage to listen. Be courageous and follow your heart’s voice, it is always speaking.

Have the courage to act. Be courageous and follow up with conscious action. It is you who sets things in motion.

Have the courage to be different, to do different. Be courageous, your path is your own, it doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s, even if it can’t be understood.

Have the courage to change. Be courageous and open the door, find the magic that is waiting for you.

Have the courage to live in the joy of what is. Be courageous and let go of control, let go of expectations, surrender to the divine plan that lives within you.

And then I remember once again that this path is never walked alone, that I am infinitely supported and surrounded by forces of the light.

And I exclaim again,"Yes! Here I am! Show me the way!"

If you are moving through a moment in time where courage is being asked of you, I cheer you on! I remind you that this life is never walked alone, for we are one. And as wise friend once told me:

“If we were all able to see how supported we all are [by the unseen forces of the universe], we would never be afraid”

So have the courage to be. Be courageous and believe, be the one you came to be.
