It's never too late.

It could be the moon. The essence of a new cycle beginning, or another calendar year coming to an end. Everywhere I look these days, life seems to be changing in major ways, for me, for family, friends and even strangers. The unfolding, ever changing, from moment to moment.

And yet no matter how life seems to change in big ways, it is never too late to being again. To do new things. To experience, grow and evolve.

The sense of everything and nothing in the moment that is that arising from the human desire of having or being, seeming at times so overwhelming that has us believing that we simply cannot go on if ‘it’ does not happen in this moment, if we do not achieve, if we do not have or become. If it is not exactly how we expect. At times robbing us of our faith of what really could be, if we continued believing, if we persevered through the discomfort, with commitment, discipline. Watering the seeds of our our becoming, doing, unfolding.

When you plant a flower seed, there are certain conditions and requirements it needs to fully bloom. Soil, water, sun, care, love, patience. Slowly it sprouts and takes growth, a little weaker and fragile at first, gaining strength from the attention and care it gets. Growing green and leafy. Bigger and brighter until the perfect moment in which it begins to show the promise of a bloom. And then the bloom just starts to open, so beautiful. In all its beauty and might, prancing proudly in the sunshine for as long as it can. Until its time fulfills and the petals fall. Now the strength given for the seed to be, a new possibility. All while the whole plant continues to grow and many blooms continue to flower, and with it the possibility of many new seeds to sow. All from the patience, love and commitment from the one seed.

A moment of pause. When the blooming cycle ends and the colder days come. Where there is still much growth. Although not at all times visible, but still growth, so when the sun begins to shine and the warmer days come back, ready once again, the cycle begins into a new glorious blooming.

Nature in all its beauty teaching us the lessons of life.

Today I remind myself, it is never too late. It is never too late to begin again. To plant another seed, to tend to it, and this time around, give it all that is needs. And with patience, watch it grow, slowly, into full bloom. All past attempts becoming the most glorious of fertilizers for this new cycle. A new becoming.

Perhaps your seed has already been planted, in that case this can be reminder that it might just need your tending, your continued love and support. Don’t be defeated if you aren’t seeings any blooms just yet, the best is yet to come.

And so I say, begin again. Continue. It is never too late.
